Blessings

This has to be the second time waking up to a blessing. I thank you Dear Father for the blessing of the home and all of us in it. Our prayers ascend to heaven to be heard by you. How you bless us with your love. You have looked kindly upon us and given us a treasure of the heart. Your blessing means so much to me.

It is the daily trials and burdens that we come to see how much our life is blessed. Just like it is when we do your will and do what is asked of us. The promptings of the Holy Spirit often takes us on journeys that lead to a place of beauty. Where paths are crossed and silent words are spoken in the depths of the heart. Where the presence of God is felt among His children.

I am listening to the song Breath of Heaven right now and I remember the first time I ever heard it, I cried. It's a beautiful song that touches my heart deeply. It reminds me of the blessing I received and how I too sometimes feel all alone in this chosen place as Mary did when our Lord chose her to be the mother of Jesus. If there is one song that sums up what I feel this one is it and it is like a prayer, a beautiful one too. Our Blessed Mother is right there with us too, her love is great.

Blessings

There is something I have begun to do, and that is starting my morning with blessing the day. When I heard the song I'm Alive, I couldn't put my finger on what was drawing me to listen to it. Until those words kept standing out. Bless the day! So I have and what a pleasure it is to begin a day this way.

Yesterday was a long twelve hour day at work, much needed overtime. We had a good conversation too about God. I had mentioned about what we receive in our day and how no matter how insignificant an item is we should be thankful to God for it.because we all too often fail to thank him for anything at all. And some also on how we speak of each other. It was quite good and I am thankful to have been part of it. It was a blessed day altogether. I am thankful and grateful for those who are in my life and for those who want to be part of it as well. We receive blessings from those who we encounter in our daily lives, even if it was just a nod we received. Well time is moving and I must finish getting ready, I don't want to be late. So today I ask God to bless all those who come and read, may they go on with joy in their heart and the Spirit of our Lord be with them.
