There is one thing I have enjoyed, it is re-reading a book by a different author on the "Discernment of Spirits." It's a practical Vocation Guide by St. Ignatius. The first book I read, I never finished because at the time it didn't make sense to me. Not with the examples that were written about. Well anyway, I must have read half of this one last night and came to truly understand more in the way of discernment. I haven't given up on seeking the Religious Life. I love God far too much to stay away. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks about my relationship with God. As long as I know it is right with Him personally.
There is so much to be thankful for in our lives, the moments we wake and when we sleep. The struggles we all face, even those are moments to be thankful for. That means we are alive and not dead. I am thankful most of all for the many people who have come into my life and became a blessing to me. They will never truly know how much God smiles upon them for their simple act of kindness to others.
