The first day on the new job went well. There are some wonderful people who work and volunteer there. It was a day spent in reading a manual in order to understand the program that I will be working with. I look forward to learning more as time goes on. I was also able to acquire the Sunday the Pope will be in New York off. Yes, I am on the list to go. I think I'm still in shock on that. My new boss introduced me two weeks ago as "you'll never guess where she's going in April." I think that day made me realize a few things on the blessings I receive.
On that note as I get adjusted to the new time schedule for work, I will be able to get myself ready in time to go to Mass in the morning. Now that my starting hour is nine in the morning rather than seven o'clock. That is a plus that I have looked forward to and have missed so very much, not being able to receive our Lord on a daily basis. Well for now that's all.

Learning the ropes for a new job is exciting.
As for the Pilgrimage, I just learned that there is no car parking near the 2 designated bus pick-up areas in this city! Yikes! The T doesn't start running that early either.
Also...pray for sun...unbrellas are not allowed in the stadium.
Congratulations again on the new job, mc!
I hope the Pilgrimage doesn't turn into a logistical nightmare for either of you - are you both going on your own, or with a group from your Parishes?
I am going it solo.
gabrielle, I hope it won't be too much of one either, and I am going solo as well. Thank you for the congrats!
yeah teresa your going as well.
