More Shrines

One strange thing to think about is that a cloud was following and raining on my moments during my travels yesterday. Yet it did seem that way at times when in front of me was clear blue sky and riding my tail was a rain cloud. That thought came about on my last leg of the journey. My journey today was to the Shrine of the Little Flower in Nasonville, Rhode Island. A journey that was a little over an hour away from home. It started out pretty nice, but as I was walking the grounds the rain came.

The above picture is the outdoor Altar, I was impressed with the layout of the the place.

A statue of St. Theresa

The entrance to the Rosary, there is a statue of Mother Theresa of Calcutta and one of St. Theresa. I have many more pictures but you will have to visit and see for yourself the beauty of the Shrine of the Little Flower. It is well maintained and a delight.

This odd looking thing is an old dam with I think a road on top. It's all rocks. I drove by and turned around to get a better look. But the picture didn't come out as well as I hoped.

This picture was on my way home, funny but the song Let This Be Our Prayer by Josh Groban was playing as I looked to the East and spotted the rainbow as the sun was shining. The sky did not look stormy but behind me was a rain cloud dogging my heels the whole way. Well anyway, I had managed to get off the highway an pull into a parking lot off of route 16 in Mass and take a few pictures.

One thing for certain, when I drive I find myself contemplating so much about God and His Love. I begin to see in a broader sense everything that has been placed in my life. The direction, the purpose, the depth of his love.

We always need the rain, I look at it this way God is refurbishing the water supply. I hope you have a great week as well.

Im sure you will Esther. These are all close to home. At tops two hours drive to the farthest one in Boston. They make for wonderful day trips. And I am discovering new ones as well as the ones that have been frequented.
