Wonderful Morning

Every morning there is always a ritual. Saying good morning to our Lord and thanking him for waking me up. Today was a bit different, as I was getting ready and going upstairs I started to hum a song that came to mind. It's quite beautiful because it's the Hail Mary: Gentle Woman and what a song. The words to the song are as follows:

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women
And blest is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Gentle woman, quiet light,
Morning star,
So strong and bright, gentle Mother,
Peaceful dove, teach us wisdom,
Teach us love.

You were chosen by the Father,
You were chosen for the Son,
You were chosen from all women,
And for woman, shining one.
Blessed are you among women.
Blest in turn all women too.
Blessed they with peaceful spirits.
Blessed they with gentle hearts.

The words highlighted are the ones that were reverberating and I began humming and singing. I thought it was quite nice to have had a special morning, one I will remember. I love when the Holy Spirit moves us in wonderful ways. Just like when classes were canceled yesterday, it allowed me to go to the Divine Mercy that is part of the Church and Chapel. I wondered about how I was going to be able to be present and it was answered. It's like that is where I should have been and it was. I think that's why I had the song come to me this morning, I did as I was supposed to do. No matter what goes on in my life, the trials, the tribulations, I will always answer God when he asks something of me because he is truth and I trust in him completely.

I find it WONDERFUL when I wake up and as soon as I am conscious I have a psalm tune or hymn of praise going through my mind and I feel as if I have been singing it all night long in my sleep. Refreshing. Blessed.

It really is a beautiful experience to have been blessed with song upon waking and awake, when it is the hymns from our Lord. I'm so glad you have had this experience too.
