Room to Grow

I am grateful for all that comes into my life to teach me. Not just book learning but life learning. No matter how old a person is there is always room to grow. If I stop learning then I am dead. There will no longer be any life left. I have been on a path that requires taking chances, nothing is certain. But it is a path of growth in faith.

When I read today's Gospel, I was reminded of myself, that I wasn't far from God's hands and how returning fully has Him rejoicing too. And it is not just me he rejoices for it is everyone who goes astray and returns to Him that He also rejoices. I love Him for the love He gives us and how He welcomes us back home to Him. How when we trust completely He gives generously to our hearts the love of His heart. I understand how He purify's a heart and readys it. I have found salvation and repentance has been mine all along. I exalt in God's love for His saving Grace.

I rejoice too along with Him for I am happy to be in love with God who surpasses all living things. He alone knows my heart, he alone is my judge, it is to Him I answer to.

I am 58 and have been noticing more sites geared to seniors and those 50 and above for improving their computer skills.
Today I received an email from a fellow musician friend who was forced to retire early because of a stroke..he now has state of the art tech equipment, and is more computer savvy than I could ever be..limited mobility and all! He is learning and eager to learn, and growing. Now, if He would only
say "yes" to God..........

That's wonderful how we can learn so much that benefits our daily living but not in the way of faith filled growth. Thank you for sharing your story and his. Prayer is powerful.
