When putting God first in our daily life we get such joy. That is what I had today. I needed him very much this morning and he was there. I knew happiness before but today it was wonderful that his presence in my soul was even more pronounced. I was so engrossed in the thought of Jesus that when a coworker said my name I jumped, not afraid, but it took me out of the spot where I was dwelling. Those moments this morning were absolutely beautiful.
I treasure them far more than anything that I have, because they are precious. He filled my soul to overflowing. What was nice was the young man apologized after I told him where I was. Dwelling with God is always nice and focusing on Jesus is by far wonderful.
