Unusual

I had one of those strange mornings yesterday, there was much reflection about the path I am on. There were moments I couldn't contain the tears. As I was listening to spiritual music as nourishment, I had "pray with me," at one moment and from that I did as was suggested "speak Lord, for your servant is listening." But I burst into tears at this.

There is nothing for me to be sad about, but I think part of what was going on had to do with a dream where I was in Church about to go up to receive Communion and the man, not a Priest, was playing with the Eucharist. From that point I refused to take communion from this person. And proceeded to the entrance to call the Police. It was the oddest dream, but I came face to face with a long haired man and told him I wasn't pleased with was was happening in the Church, with the disregard to the Sacrament and how it is treated. I can still see in my minds eye the man with the long hair.

I suppose then that would be why I was in a tearful state. I did something unusual though, I anointed myself with Holy Oil, and was rewarded with His grace, it was after this that I received pray with me. The Eucharist is so alive and we do not recognize Jesus there. For many it's just a piece of bread. If only they really knew.

I've read in a few places about going out and proclaiming and it touches me deeply, as if I know this is what I am to do. But I don't know how to begin and for me that is the hardest part to overcome. When I keep reading it and it speaks loudly to my soul then it is easily understood what a person is to do. At least I think so anyway. I leave it in God's loving hands for this. If it is his desire he will make it come about, and this I trust in with all my heart.

God is ever present in the Holy Eucharist...and your unusual or strange dream really happens...In our parish there was a story about a very old woman praying alone in the Blessed Sacrament. Suddenly and unexpectedly the thief came and stole the golden monstrance. The old woman begged to respect the Holy Host ..sadly the thief didnt listen and took with him the Holy Host...that was a very sad story among the parishioners....

One way of proclaiming is shown right here on your blog when you speak of your love for the Blessed Sacrament. Even your frequent attendance at mass and being seen on your daily and frequent visits to the Tabernacle and the Monstrance are a way of proclaiming the Gospel and also your Love and seriousness for God and Jesus in the Eucharist.

teresa, I know this is one way, I never thought the others were part of it too. I thank you for bringing it to light for me.
