I wrote about my dad and what he is being treated for. The results of his MRI they finally have and found out my dad has some hardening of the arteries in the brain. I was told by my mother that the Doctor said his weight loss is good, and on the other hand to weigh him daily and log it down. She said he doesn't have Alzheimer's, but the medicine for it is helping him. This is what I am told. I thank you for your prayers on behalf of my dad. Because we believed he did have Alzheimer's. I thank God that there are beautiful people out there who love to pray.

And there is truth in prayer when we pray. I see it with my parent's and how they pray together and how far they have gone in this life with so much physical illness assailing them. Yet in spite of their trials they get through each day with the strength of our Lord and prayers to our Blessed Mother. They give so very much of themselves and often do without just so that someone else may have.

And I recall how they took on my burdens and for the life of me continue to do something truly special when they no longer need to. This is where I have found the gift of giving without cost to self a lesson in life. My parent's have been excellent role models in faith. Even when we are at odds with each other, the love and forgiveness is great. I have learned a lot from them, and continue to do so. Mom and Dad I love you both so much and I thank you for the gift of faith and teaching me to love.

This is a beautiful post MC. I live so far away from my parents and am sorry I won't be able to do much for them if they should need help. Unless they come to live here, which would be ideal. They will have to make up their minds, and I hope they make the right choice.
