It is good

Last weekend our class asked to be accepted into the Third Order of Dominicans, as the other class that was also there made their first profession. It was a fairly good day, considering the mix up. It was marred by the gifts not being given as scheduled by those who chose to give them. It was felt very deeply that they did not want a specific person to give these gifts.

The rest of the week was good, on my way home one day I saw a Dove when I was thinking about the Third Order. It was so white, just couldn't miss seeing it. That was something. Then as I left one morning I saw a momma deer, and her two younger one's cross the street to my delight.

The best was when the computer froze the other day. When I rebooted I had a picture of Jesus come up as the desktop picture. Only thing about this, it wasn't the picture on my desktop, it was a picture of trees. This happened twice, and I still can't figure out how come it did this when it never happened before when I had to reboot. So this was my week at large. It was good, it was filled with reflection, I was able to read and let what others wrote be absorbed. I did not write to keep myself firmly on understanding His way.

I did discover a friend who is guiding me, who is teaching me touch therapy. She in her goodness, was seeking a way for me to help my mom with her pain. I discovered that nothing is about me, but about God. I discovered that the more I do for Him the more I have to battle the foe. I have discovered the beauty of God within.
