It's hard to believe it's August already, time sure does fly by, doesn't it. It's funny, but we often think, now where the heck did it go, and why is it going by so fast anyway. Then I recall the times that seemed to stand still. Those were the times that patience seemed at an all time high.
I noticed this at school when classes would seem as if time stopped and it dragged on, and everyone would sit and complain about how long the class is. But do we notice when class or our day just passes us by. Either way, we are meant to use the gifts we have.
Today I was reminded from Paul, about parents and the role they play in our lives. He too had values in his family that kept a strong faith. How this is truly important in children's lives to witness faith in their parents.
Just as those values were instilled in him, mine did the same with us as children. How truly blessed a parent is when their children follow the faith that God brought to us. Be proud dear parents for the gift you give your children, this is the fruit of your faith when they follow the path given to them by you.
Mom and Dad, I love you, and thank you for giving me a faith I cherish with all my heart.

3 Words of Wisdom:
When we are grateful to God for His gifts to us, He lavishes us still further with many more gifts.
And the more grateful we are, the more He showers us with His grace, His gifts and His love.
This is the Law of Reciprocity. God is never outdone in generosity. Never.
Sacred Scripture on the Law of Reciprocity:
Gal 6:7-10 “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction;
the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not
become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not
give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to
those who belong to the family of believers.”
