I found My Heart

There is a song I fell in love with, it's called Lilies of the Field, sung by John Michael Talbot on his Signatures CD. I played it once, when I first purchased the CD, and put it aside for a long time. I rediscovered it a few weeks ago, and I am still in awe of this song and a few others on there. I look at it in a way of it being put aside for a reason. God does have a way of keeping things going at his pace. The song has to do with, sowing and reaping. How God provides for the animals. Now that I think about it, I discovered this CD around the same time that I wrote about the robins and how they toil. Wow. Now I am in awe of God much more than it can be thought possible.

Now I understand for the reason it was lost for a while, and the purpose of the timing of finding it. Thank you love, for showing me your loving touch. I can say one thing, God never ceases to amaze me. For there he has given me more than anyone would ever think I've been given.

For where ever your treasure is, there you will find your heart. God is my treasure and that is where I will find my heart. This was also part of the song, and it's meaning is so true to my heart.

This is one time that I ended up finding more understanding a bit later than usual. But it's impact is far greater and far more beautiful. And to think what he is doing for me, he would be doing for so many more if only their hearts were truly open to him.
